  68.       "Shareware" is a term used to describe a system for distribution
  69.       of software.  Under the shareware concept, software may be freely
  70.       copied and passed along to others, or distributed through bulletin
  71.       board systems, etc.
  72.      
  73.       As a recipient of a shareware program, you may use the software
  74.       for a short trial period to determine if it meets your needs.  If
  75.       it does, you pay the registration fee.  By paying the fee, you are
  76.       granted the right to retain the software for your use.  If the
  77.       software is not suitable, then you may discard it.
  78.      
  79.       The shareware system provides substantial benefits:             
  80.      
  81.       1) You get to try out the software BEFORE you buy it so you know
  82.          exactly what you're buying.
  83.      
  84.       2) Shareware is substantially less expensive than most commercial
  85.          programs.  You don't pay for costly marketing programs and
  86.          fancy packaging.

  88.       3) You get access to a MUCH broader base of available programs.
  89.          Thousands of excellent programs have been written by expert
  90.          programmers who would never consider marketing commercially.
  91.          Through the concept of shareware, these people make their
  92.          programs available to the community.  Usually, all they ask in
  93.          return is a small fee to reward them for the time and effort
  94.          they've put into the program.
  95.      
  96.       The system is based entirely on the honor system, and generally
  97.       works quite well.  (Most people are honest and wouldn't violate
  98.       the trust placed in them by the author of the software.)
  99.      
  100.       Shareware is NOT free software - the author counts on your integrity.
  101.       Please register using the enclosed Registration/Order Form. (This form
  102.       may also be printed from the ORDER.FRM file or from Main Menu Option #4
  103.       within the program.) Registration may be made by credit card, check or

  271.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the
  272.      planning for INCOME PROTECTION (Financial Situation if Disabled).
  273.      Insurance is usually used to cover any shortages in these needs. Amounts
  274.      of Insurance should be based on covering exposed risk and not some
  275.      arbitrary formula such as X% or X times earnings. The optimum situation
  276.      is not needing any insurance because your savings and investment assets
  277.      would cover any exposed risk. This program will help analyse your
  278.      situation and if deficient, suggest the appropriate amounts of insurance
  279.      that is required.
  280.  
  281.      Individuals are more and more responsible to insure they have sufficient
  282.      assets to support themselves in case of being disabled.
  283.  
  284.      This program is designed to help you to reach your income protection goal.
  285.      You need to know where you are and if what your doing leads to your goal.
  286.      By using this program all these questions can be answered. You can
  287.      monitor your progress as ofter as you like, because you have the tool
  288.      to do it with this program.

  290.      This program is always being revised because of changes in the tax laws
  291.      and improvement suggestions from users.

  332.    If you have not reviewed the program, suggest you Type 1 & Press Return for

  334.    accept any input of data, but will illustrate demo figures and extra

  354.  (This program has two main Modes, DEMONSTRATION and REGULAR. Suggest review
  355.      of the DEMONSTRATION Mode before using the REGULAR Mode.)

  357.    1. At the Introduction Screen, choose the AUTOMATIC PRESENTATION (Type 1
  358.       and Press Return). After reviewing each screen, Press Return to Continue
  359.       until you reach the end of the program. This is a quick general review
  360.       of the programs features and benefits.
  361.  
  362.    2. After the end of the Automatic Presentation, the MAIN MENU will reappear
  363.       as just the Demonstration Mode. You may choose any item desired for
  364.       for furthur review. You should, as a minimum, review menu items not
  365.       presented during the Automatic Presentation.

  367.    3. Use the REGULAR MODE of the program. At MAIN MENU choose # 3 Utilities
  368.       Option Menu. At Utilities Option Menu choose Option # 1 to INPUT USER
  369.       CODE. Input Shareware User Code - 1234 and proceed to MAIN MENU. The
  370.       program will then allow for your input and computation of the analysis.

  475.      First Financial Software has been providing professional financial
  476.      planning software to professionals (Financial Planners, Stockbrokers,
  477.      Insurance Agents, CPA's, etc.) since 1982. Our commercial program, FPLAN,
  478.      covers all aspects of personal financial planning from investments to
  479.      insurance. Because of the need for an organized approach to financial
  480.      planning and to make it available to more people, we have decided to
  481.      provide various FPLAN modules as Shareware.
  482.  
  483.      This Financial Planner module is designed to assist individuals in the
  484.      planning for INCOME PROTECTION (Financial Situation if Disabled).
  485.      Insurance is usually used to cover any shortages in these needs. Amounts
  486.      of Insurance should be based on covering exposed risk and not some
  487.      arbitrary formula. The optimum situation is not needing any insurance

  490.      The program was designed to be easy to use, even for those who do not
  491.      have extensive experience with computers. The program Menus encompass
  492.      all that you need to know to perform your own retirement analysis.

  494.      (In the Demonstration Mode, Each Menu will be preceded by an explanation
  495.       screen)

  497.      If you find this program useful and would like more financial planning in
  498.      this format, we have a few suggestions and requests.

  500.      1. Notify your Shareware Distributor to let you know when new FPLAN
  501.         Modules are available. If you register, we will notify you also.

  503.      2. Income Protection Planning should be made in consideration of your
  504.         total financial situation. We have a shareware program that can be
  505.         used to determine you over-all financial situation. This program is
  506.         explained in detail at Utilities Option #2.

  509.         to consider using the Professional FPLAN Program, order the FPLAN DEMO

  615.      The Personal Financial Planner program is designed to assist individuals
  616. in their own total financial situation analysis. Subjects areas include:
